CREATING A BRAND IDENTITY
LINKS
The Ask: Links is a brand new restaurant in LA. So new, in fact, it isn’t even opened. They came to me with an idea of what type of restaurant they wanted to open—a gourmet hotdog joint that brings people together. The first step, come up with a name. Check. Next? Build a brand. And so it began…
ZEVIA
The Ask: I was initially hired as a freelancer at Zevia for the sole reason of creating a new brand voice as part of their rebrand. We wanted something fun, interesting, and new. Something that avoided the tropes of other modern soda brands to help us stand out. Here’s where we landed. (Forgive the lack of design.)
POPWORKS
The Ask: PopWorks came to us without a significant social media presence. They asked us to develop a creative strategy for them including a territory for them to play in and content "buckets" within that territory.
So we started with the territories—three general directions in which they could take their social media presence.
After the client chose a territory (territory one above), we began working on types of social content to best engage their millennial audience. Each piece of social media communication was to fall into one of three “content buckets.”
