About Me
About Me
I was born, raised, and still live in Chattanooga, TN. It was one of those “I’m not going back there after college,” but here I am, and I’m so happy it turned out this way. There’s no better place to get outside!
In college, I was an anthropology and sociology major. Seems random (it was), but it has really helped me as a writer not just because we had to write a lot, but it helped me see the world through other peoples’ eyes. I was also a studio art minor. I still love to paint, draw, photograph and just create!
Traveling is my favorite thing in the world (pun intended). I studied abroad in India while in undergrad, and I still travel as much as possible. (Go to Cuba if you can find a way. It’s worth it.) But my every day hobbies? Getting outside and, of course, reading! My favorite book? "Oh, The Places You'll Go" by the one and only Dr. Seuss. If you don't remember it, go read it again. It'll inspire you. But I don’t usually sit around reading children’s books. I read all kinds of things. Want a recommendation? Happy to help. But I digress.
So what's next for me? Who knows. But I'm ready!
